Committed to Church
Roger Huston is the Minister of Testify Church of Christ. He has also served several other churches across the country through preaching sermons, presiding over the Lord’s Supper and Offering, baptizing, leading prayer, teaching Sunday morning and Wednesday evening Bible classes, and being actively involved in campus ministry.
Roger is ecumenical and welcomes working with all types of churches and denominations! From a small and rural Methodist church to a large and urban Lutheran church, he would be honored to help your church reach its fullest potential.
Qualifications
Roger is well-qualified to help your church achieve its fullest potential. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree Summa Cum Laude with a major in Religion from Simpson College. He then went on to Yale Divinity School and graduated with a Master of Arts in Religion degree and is currently finishing a Master of Public Administration degree at Iowa State University.
He has outlined new organizational effectiveness techniques, worked with budgets, statistical data, performed program evaluations, and has completed an online certification by the National Institute of Health to research human subjects. This training, along with his expertise in Biblical Studies, Church History, Congregational Studies, and Religion & Culture, enables him to form a unique and informative plan that is tailored to your church’s needs.
And perhaps most importantly, Roger works extremely well with people. He is an experienced mediator and has a proven track record of bringing people together, even over the most divisive issues.
